Graduate Student Association

Summary:
All graduate students enrolled in a degree program at our Berrien Springs campus are automatically members of the AUGSA. The AUGSA assembly includes all AUGSA members and is governed by elected officers who meet regularly and report to the assembly. The AUGSA sponsors social, spiritual and scholarly activities during the school year. Purpose:

The Andrews university Graduate Student Association (AUGSA) was established in 1987 to serve the graduate students at Andrews University. AUGSA's purpose is to strengthen student cohesiveness and create a community that learns and works together, entering to learn departing to serve.

Mission:

AUGSA's mission is to consider, evaluate and meet the academic, social, spiritual, and career needs and concerns of the graduate students. AUGSA seeks to provide an avenue that will enhance and further these endeavors.
All graduate students registered in regular or provisional status in all the schools and colleges of the Berrien Springs campus of the University shall be voting members of the AUGSA.

Elections:

All AUGSA candidates must maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA to run for and hold office. Only one representative from each school may hold major office.
