Graduate Scholarship

The scholarship is a percent of tuition and is awarded as follows:

Qualification Requirements:

1. New master's-level students or first-time graduate students in advanced programs (for two years only).

2. Accepted into programs which require GRE (or GMAT) and have current GRE (or GMAT) scores at the time of enrollment.

3. At their school's/department's/program's discretion, some master's-level students may be allowed to enroll for a maximum of one semester before taking the exam, in which case they must complete the exam prior to the start of the following terms after initial enrollment in order to be eligible (required even if the student does not register for coursework that term).

4. Scholarship money will not be applied retroactively to any coursework started prior to taking the exam.

5. For students who have taken the exam more than once, the latest exam scores prior to to enrollment will be considered.

6. The scholarship will be awarded for the entire master’s program but only while the student is in good standing. Students who are placed on academic probation will lose the scholarship for the remainder of the program.

7. If a student is accepted in one program but transfers to another, they will still be eligible for the scholarship if they have maintained a GPA of 3.33 and are not on academic probation.

8. The scholarship will not be available for programs that have already discounted their tuition below the standard master's tuition rate, except where the scholarship is greater than the discount the difference will be awarded as a scholarship.

9. Students on this scholarship program would be eligible for other scholarship funds available through the schools of the University.

10. The scholarship will be applied by the Office of Student Financial Services at the time of student’s registration.

11.  Closest GRE testing location to Andrews University is Mishawaka, IN.  Next closest is Portage, MI.

12.  Test is available most weekdays.

13.  Test fee is $150.

14.  Rescheduling fee is $50 if done as least ten days before the test.  Within ten days, you forfeit the original registration fee.  If you cancel the test, you will receive a refund of half of your original registration fee.
