The
Leadership Orientation is the opening gate to the Leadership Program at Andrews
University. This summer, it will be a one-week event immediately followed
by the Roundtable Conference, which all participants are required to attend.
The following information is about the initial Leadership Program Orientation
week. |

| Who? |
All leadership applicants who have been accepted into the 2006 Cohort are expected to attend in order to start their degree program. |

| When? |
July
10-14, 2006, followed by the Roundtable Conference from July 17-19, 2006. |
| |
The program
will begin on Monday at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at noon on Friday. The
meetings
will end each day around 5:00 p.m.” |

As you
can see from the description of the program on this website, the Leadership
Program at Andrews University is a highly innovative graduate program that
allows leadership professionals to use their life and work context as the
arena to develop leadership skills and competencies. The orientation event
is part of the residency requirement of this program and ensures that each
participant is properly introduced to the program’s unique structure and
resources. |

Orientation fee: $395 |
| |
Participants are responsible
for their own transportation, lodging, and two meals each day. The orientation
fee must be submitted to the office . For all tuition fees,
please refer to the financial information given in your admission packet.”

| What will I learn at the Orientation? |

The Leadership Orientation Program is a transforming experience to give you a great start into this unique program. The primary purpose of the orientation is to transform your thinking about your own leadership development. Of course, you will learn how this program works, meet the faculty and staff, join a local Regional Group, and start developing your own Individual Development Plan (IDP), the first step in the Leadership Program. Most of all, be prepared for a most dynamic and transforming experience that will be exciting and full of discoveries as you become part of this unique learning community! |
