2. Applying to take a course or two by Permission to Take Courses process (see below).

Permission to Take Classes (PTC)

Those wishing to only take a few courses for certification or recertification purposes (up to about 8 semester credits) do not need to apply for admission to a program. However, they need to fill out the Permission to Take Classes (PTC) (pdf, doc) application form in our forms section of this web page. However, those planning on getting a degree, may start taking courses by taking PTC, but need to apply IMMEDIATELY for admissions. In addition, being granted PTC ability to take courses does NOT imply acceptance. Please fill out the PTC Acknowledgement form also on our forms page. That form shows you acknowledge this PTC status.
