James White Library is viewed as essential to the students of Andrews University.  As a result, when the University is closed, James White Library will remain open according to the following:

1. Head of Patron Services (Circulation) or his/her nominee, and the Building Services Manager will be identified as essential workers.  Student assistants will be used whenever possible.  Other library staff will not be considered essential and will come to work at their discretion.

2. Snow day hours will be 10:00am to 5:00pm
