The library lost and
found cupboard is located at the main circulation desk near the library
entrance. It is operated by the Patron
Services Department. Items found in the building that do not belong
to the library are brought to this location to be kept until they are claimed.
Once or twice per month the lost and found items are displayed
in the main lobby with a sign which says, "Lost and found items: please
take only what is yours." This is left in the lobby for several days,
after which time the books are processed by the library as donated books.
Non-book materials are disposed of at the discretion of the supervisor
of the Patron Services Department.
