Using Google Scholar with James White Library
1. From www.google.com click on More and choose Scholar. Click on Advanced Scholar Search.
2. Type in your search terms. Note you can limit by year and subject area. You will get a variety of results ranging from books, articles, ERIC documents to Web sites.
3. ERIC documents have a link to the full text
ERIC Full Text (2123K) or will say "Not
available from ERIC" or "Find in a
Library". Most of these are available in microfiche in the library.
4. Books will give you selected pages which contain your search terms. If you would like to read the whole book you can click on one of the publisher links and purchase it or click on Find this book in a library. This link takes you to a list of libraries which own the book beginning with the nearest library to your zip code.

finding the text of an article is usually the "Full-Text @ Andrews" link. But
sometimes you have to try the title and "all 2 versions" link too. If all these
links turn out to be dead-ends, then search the library's Periodicals A-Z list
for the journal title. Note: the
Full-Text@Andrews link does not show up unless preferences are set to
