Along with the regular AUSA and club-sponsored activities, there’s a flourishing current of random social activity swirling across campus. Watch out for things like poetry readings, art galleries, and chess or pool tournaments on any given night. Or cookouts, sports parties, and Saturday morning pancake breakfasts in Burman Hall. Then there are events like Latin Culture Night and student humanitarian programs, such as the highly successful benefit concerts, art gallery, and fashion show organized in response to the 2004 Southeast Asia Tsunami. On the whole, Andrews students find plenty of support for their ideas and outlets for their creativity, so don’t hesitate to get involved, and turn your ideas into action.
