If you are a person who is spiritually faithful, enjoys meeting new people, and has enthusiasm and spirit, then God might be calling you to participate in the Spanish Street Ministry.

Volunteers travel to Orchard View Park in Benton Harbor and visit the homes of people who have requested visitation and prayer. Besides conversing and getting better acquainted with the residents, visits also include reading some Scripture, discussing it, and applying the meaning of the passage to real life. 

This time not only enriches the individual’s life, but it also gives the volunteer an opportunity to minister to someone they would not have met otherwise and offers them a chance to talk and share together as friends. It’s an effective and uplifting ministry that helps the families of Benton Harbor by giving them friends and a direct connection with God. This method of sharing Jesus with the public imparts peace to all who benefit from it, and builds relationships based on the volunteers’ desire to share Christ.
