Due to a growing demand for nurses with a Bachelor of Science: Nursing, Andrews University will offer an online degree designed for registered nurses who already have an associate degree. The program will begin spring semester 2014. Many hospitals and healthcare facilities now require that their nurses hold a Bachelor of Science: Nursing in order to practice, and the industry estimates that by 2020, 80% of nurses will have this degree.

The online program, offered at a 50% tuition reduction, is a total of 125 credits, 68 of which come from a previously earned associate’s degree. The remaining 57 credits can be completed in four semesters.
