Andrews University invites the community to their annual celebration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr., taking place January 14-20. The celebration is comprised of several events, listed below.
Tuesday, January 14
University Forum in the Howard Performing Arts Center at 11:30 a.m.
“Home(town) Security” presented by Majora Carter, internationally renowned urban revitalization strategy consultant, real estate developer and Peabody Award winning broadcaster.
Thursday, January 16
Chapel in Pioneer Memorial Church at 11:30 a.m.

Friday, January 17
A continuous viewing of King's “I Have a Dream” speech will take place in the Campus Center student lounge from 9 a.m.–noon.
Sabbath, January 18
New Life Fellowship in the Seminary Chapel at 11:45 a.m.
“Guidelines for a Constructive Church” will be presented by Tyler Stewart, MDiv student. This sermon was originally preached by King at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Ga., on June 5, 1966.
Monday, January 20
A continuous viewing of King's “I Have a Dream” speech will take place in the Campus Center student lounge from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
