Provost Search Committee

A search committee charged with the task of finding a new provost is now in place with the first organizational meeting met October 5, 2009.  University Working Policy requires that the committee include representatives from a number of areas of campus, from administration, academic deans and so on. The structure of the committee listed below reflects those expectations/requirements.
 
One vice president:

Four faculty, two of them full professors:

Kathy Koudele
David Steen

One staff person:
Lorena Bidwell

One Andrews board trustee: 
Lynn Gray

Two students: 
Norman Yazid, AUGSA President
Jasmine Saunders, AUSA President

One person appointed by the president:  
Judith Fisher

Also serving on the committee as an invitee, by request of the president, is Dan Agnetta, Director of Human Resources. Submissions of names for potential candidates for the provost position are welcome and may be forwarded to any one of the search committee members, or directly to the Office of the President at dalry@andrews.edu.
