Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
The BFA is a professional degree designed for students who want to enter the field of graphic design, become practicing artists, or plan to pursue graduate work. Candidates for the BFA enter the program only after completion and review of all introductory level classes. This degree incorporates core subjects in areas of Art, Design, New Media and Photography, with an emphasis in the career field of choice. The degree will be shaped to match the goals of the student, and to meet the needs of the marketplace, whether in the world of art, communication, design or technology. The BFA degree includes emphases in Art Direction/Advertising, Documentary Film, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Photography, Pre-Art Therapy, Video Production and Web Design.

Bachelor of Art
The BA provides liberal arts oriented students with a general background in art, art history, or graphic design, and is flexible enough to allow study in another area.

A BS in Art Education leads to the bachelor's degree and teacher certification. This degree is taken in cooperation with the School of Education.
