Thomas Michaud received his Bachelor degree from the University of Kansas in 1992 while working as a cartoonist for the University Daily Kansan student newspaper. He was one of the most published cartoonists in the history of the university, having one or more cartoons published each day for more than four years. After graduation, Thomas continued to freelance in illustration while also pursuing studies in and working as an Exercise Physiologist. However, Thomas returned full-time to the design field in 2000, working for King Louie International and other freelance clients. in 2001, Thomas moved to Michigan to work for an in-house design firm at Lane Automotive and started to learn about Web design. In 2004, Thomas moved into the Web manager role at Lane Automotive and was responsible for four major corporate websites. In 2006, Thomas accepted a position at Andrews University to re-develop the Web Design program. During his time at Andrews University, he has also completed his MFA in Web Design and New Media from the Academy of Art University in the summer of 2011. Thomas continues to work with clients around the work in the field of Web, Design, and Illustration and teaches courses in all three disciplines. He is also working with Web industry professionals to develop a unique style of course offerings to help prepare graduates for the competitive job market. Contact him to find out more!

Thomas continues to work for a number of regional and international clients throughout the year and look to get students involved in community web projects.
