Our Philosophy:

The Andrews MBA academic curriculum seeks to develop serious business thinkers; not just mere "reflectors" of textbook theories and strategies. Because business problems are complex and there is no one theory or strategy that is best in all circumstances businesses look for independent thinkers that can bring a critical mind set into the workplace. Through the use of case studies, real world scenarios and experiences, students are given the opportunity to put their critical thinking skills into practice. Our highly qualified faculty bring a wealth of industry experience into the classroom. Combined with research-based teaching and small classes that are internationally diverse, students receive a rigorous academic experience that prepares them to successfully deal with complex business challenges.

The Foundation courses seek to build a solid business foundation in students joining us from various career backgrounds that would enable all students to take full advantage of the remainder of their academic experience.

The Core courses seek to familiarize students with essential skills required to successfully lead and manage in the new economy. It focuses on concepts in accounting, finance, economics, organizational theory, business research, marketing, and ethics-culminating in a capstone course in strategy.
