Introduction
The MSA program in the School of Business Administration at Andrews University is designed to prepare students for leadership in an industry-specific setting. The following MSA degree program is offered:
- The MSA in Church Administration is offered in cooperation with the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary.
Entrance Requirements
Applicants for the MSA program must meet all university admission requirements (for details, see "Admission Requirements," 2007-2008 Bulletin). Admission requirements include:
Degree: A four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited American university or senior college, or its equivalent outside the U.S. GPA: A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.60 GRE or GMAT : Submission of a satisfactory GRE or GMATscore taken within the past five years English Proficiency: A minimum TOEFL score of 550 on a paper-based test (or 213 on a computer based test), or a MELAB score of 80 -- if secondary and post-secondary study was in a non-English medium.

Master of Science in Administration (MSA)
The MSA degree in church administration is for students seeking
management roles in church or church-related organizations.
Offered jointly by the School of Business Administration and the
Theological Seminary, the program blends business management
and church management.
Students must take any lacking prerequisite courses in
addition to the 33 graduate credits required for the MSA degree.

Standards of Scholarship
GPA and Grade Requirements. All graduate students are expected to maintain a 3.00 GPA in all graduate courses that apply to the degree requirements. No grade of D or F (or U ) may be used to satisfy degree requirements; however, these grades are included when computing the cumulative GPA and, if they occur in courses normally meeting degree requirements, the degree GPA.
GRE or GMAT. The GRE or GMAT is required for regular admission status. A student may not enroll for more than 12 credits of graduate work before the GRE requirement is met.
Transfer Courses. A maximum of 6 semester credits in approved graduate courses may be taken off-campus or in another school of the university and transferred to meet program requirements.
