MS Special Education - Scholarship
The Department of Graduate Psychology and Counseling is pleased to announce that it is offering a 50% tuition reduction for applicants accepted into the MS Special Education program for the 2013-2014 school year. Training in special education offers tremendous employment opportunities for students who hold a bachelor’s degree with a general education teaching credential. The field of special education has vast shortages of educators, thus many special education candidates are hired into teaching positions prior to their degree completion.
The 50% tuition reduction is offered to students who are accepted into the MS Special Education program. Once received, it will cover the span of the Special Education program to a maximum of two calendar years. The requirements to continue the 50% reduction are as follows:
- Full-time OR Part-time Enrollment in the Special Ed program (max 2 years scholarship coverage)
- A 3.0 overall GPA
- Must maintain the status of a student in good and regular standing
- Students cannot be on academic probation
If you are interested in this field of study and would like to take advantage of this reduced tuition, please contact Dr. Luana Greulich, Special Education Program Coordinator in the Department of Graduate Psychology and Counseling at 269-471-3473 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
