Biography:

Dr. Gifford, a native Californian, has served as a pastor; a secondary, college, and graduate level teacher; an administrator of pre-school, K-8, K-10, and 9-12 levels of education; and coordinator of college recruitment, dean of summer sessions, and associate academic dean at the college level. He currently teaches in both leadership and administration and coordinates K-12 Educational Administration Programs.

Current Research or Professional Activities:

Dr. Gifford is working on research in the spot where motivation and worldview intersect. With Dr. Covrig, he is currently studying "Moral Decision Making of Principals." He has also submitted or is soon to submit articles on "An Adventist Worldview," "What Motivates God,"  and "To What Motives Does God Appeal?"
