Biography:

Dr. Sylvia Gonzalez, originally from Uruguay, South America, has  experience in administration and teaching. She has taught in the United States and in several Latin countries. She is currently an Associate Professor and teaches in both the Leadership program and the Educational Administration program.

Current Research or Professional Activities:

Dr. Gonzalez is interested in researching leadership development and employee burnout. She is currently working on an article dealing with the role of hardship in leadership development. She and her colleagues (Drs. E. Gonzalez and T. Grajales) are conducting interviews with selected leaders from our Leadership program in Lima, Peru.
