2nd Annual Leadership Conference

The School of Education's Department of Leadership is pleased to announce its 2nd Annual Leadership Conference, which will take place Friday, July 20, through Monday, July 23, 2012, at the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University. An outgrowth of the Annual Roundtable Conference that students in the Leadership Program have been attending since the 1990s, the Leadership Conference was started last year to provide an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty from other departments, as well as the general public, to hear lectures by world-class leadership experts. Daniel Goleman, this year's keynote speaker, is the best-selling author of the book Emotional Intelligence.

In addition, there will be two days of pre-conference workshops and plenary sessions, featuring Richard Blackaby, co-author of the book Spiritual Leadership, as well as presentations by many others on various aspects of spiritual leadership.
