Biography:
Faith-Ann's educational experiences include being an assistant teacher for early elementary (PreK-4) and language arts for 7-8 grade at Shiloh School (Ocala, FL); and English teacher for 7-12 grade at Chicago Seventh-day Adventist Academy (Chicago, IL). She has also been an adjunct faculty at Lake Michigan college, teaching basic writing and reading comprehension. Before she accepted a full-time teaching position in the TLC Department at Andrews University, she was a contract instructor for the English Department and the TLC Department at Andrews University. Faith-Ann was also the graduate resource manager and administrative assist for CIRCLE -- www.circle.adventist.org --the Curriculum and Instruction Resource Clearinghouse Linking Educators, sponsored by the North American Division Office of Education.
Her graduate academic experiences include publications in the Journal of Adventist Education and the 2008 National Writing Project compliation Getting It in Writing, Samuel Totten (Ed.). Faith-Ann holds memberships in a variety of professional organizations, and has presented at several conferences on her current interest in the area of academic service-learning.
