“Ministers on the Front Line”
Dear Prospective Club Member,
Great is the need for Adventist ministers, both men and women, of the highest standards of integrity and faithfulness to serve and to be present where hope is needed. Chaplains are those in such a position to make immediate contact with people in their day-to-day organizational or institutional setting. Members of the AU Chaplains’ Club are those who have accepted this calling and are serving (or have served) as Chaplains, those who are considering the call to Chaplaincy, and those who support these ministry areas in a number of ways.
We hope that you will find our Club a warm, nurturing community equipped with what you need to facilitate your growth in chaplaincy ministries. Whether your interest is in healthcare chaplaincy, industrial chaplaincy, military chaplaincy, campus chaplaincy, or prison chaplaincy, you are sure to gain invaluable experience as you dialogue and form networks with others of similar interest.
If you are interested in chaplaincy and sense that God may be calling you to serve in these areas, please contact one of the Club officers or join us at our next meeting.
Sincerely,
Your 2009-2010 Club Officers
