Reimbursements Policy For Seminary Distance Learning Center
Time Limit for finishing a course:
The deadline for the course completion is six months from the date of registration. Please note if you need extra time after the six month period, you must contact the Seminary Distance Learning Center and request an extension. This does not include synchronous courses
If there are any questions in respect to the course you are taking, please contact the professor or the Seminary Distance Learning Center. Each course outline should provide instructions on how to request an examination (if the course requires it).The order in which assignments are listed in course outlines is important.
Time Limit for dropping a course:
In the event that a student decides not to complete the course, a student has, from the date of registration, one month to notify the Seminary Distance Learning Center through e-mail. The student should also contact the professor through e-mail with the request to drop the course. If a student does not notify the professor and the Distance Learning office, through e-mail, and does not complete the course, the grade for a registered distance course will be a DG.
Refund:
Students who drop a course within one month of registration will be given a full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee. The refund will be given only after the student returns the course material. After one month, there will be no refund.
If a student does not return all course materials within 10 days after dropping the course, the student will incur a materials fee of $150 for a two credit course or $225 for a three credit course (this is the same charge as when individuals or students purchase the course materials for personal enrichment.)
