Mission

To prepare people committed to global christian ministry.

The Christian Ministry Department:

Prepares church leaders in the area of practical ministries and provides training, and experience in such areas as preaching, church leadership and administration, pastoral care, evangelism, sacred music and worship, and youth studies and ministry.


As part of the Christian Ministry Department, the Religious Education Programs prepare men and women to fulfill the teaching and discipline mandates of the gospel commission.

Equipping University: The Equipping University is an equipping program designed to empower
church members for effective ministry. Professors from the Theological Seminary under the auspices of the North American Division Evangelism Institute will be offering, the same comprehensive instruction and practical expertise that is given in master's level classes at the Seminary. Each class module consists of one, two, or three weekend intensives that will provide in-depth, proven, instruction that will help members gain expertise to become successful in their ministry.

Field Schools: Participation meets the requirements for the Seminary class CHMN562 Field Evangelism. Field schools involve conducting a public evangelistic event with guidance, or participating in a field school of evangelism, under the direction of one of the Christian Ministry Department faculty or an approved evangelist.
