Ph.D in Leadership

Generally, the Doctor of Ministry is considered to be a terminal degree; however, in cooperation with the Andrews School of Education, DMin program participants are offered an opportunity for additional advanced education.

If, after completing the Andrews DMin degree, you apply to the Ph.D. Leadership program and meet admission requirements, up to 16 of the coursework credits already done in the DMin program may be counted toward the requirements of the 48-credit Ph.D. in Leadership. You would then take an appropriately reduced number of coursework credits in the Leadership program, and write a 16-credit Ph.D. dissertation. This arrangement applies only to the Ph.D. in Leadership, and is not currently available for other Ph.D. programs at Andrews.

The Ph.D. program’s tuition is charged at the full doctoral rate. Unlike the DMin program, it is not subsidized.

For more information about the PhD Leadership program, see that program’s homepage or call 1-269-471-3487.
