In-residence Cohorts

For non-North American Division applicants seeking the opportunity to pursue a DMin degree as a full-time student in residence at Andrews University: a deferred 50% tuition discount will be provided to international participants in cohorts offered in-residence. This may be offered every two years, and the concentrations offered may vary. The program will provide 26 hours of course work during three consecutive semesters and assist participants as they initiate their projects. After one year at Andrews, as participants return to their home division for continued employment and completion of their projects, a grant of 50% of tuition expense is provided.

While in the cohort, participants will fulfill assignments within a small learning group, serve in the context of ministry in a local church, engage in research, and involve themselves in workshops outside of class time to enrich their learning experience.

The Doctor of Ministry program believes this innovation will support development of outstanding leaders for the world church, while helping their families by making the stay at Andrews brief and assisting their return for service to the world church.

The cohort is open to international students only and is limited to an enrollment of 15 persons per cohort. The more preferred option is to offer on-site cohorts of the Doctor of Ministry program in various concentrations in diverse world divisions continues, or access to a limited number of seats for international participants in North American Division cohorts at an NAD rate.

The next opportunity for an in-residence cohort will be offered in 2013 with a concentration in Leadership. See the DMin Program Planner for the detailed schedule of courses.
