New InMinistry Center Director
Esther Knott has been selected as new Director of the InMinistry Center, an entity of the North American Division, located at the SDA Theological Seminary on the campus of Andrews University. Most recently Esther has been an NAD Associate Ministerial Director (4 years) while serving as Associate Pastor at the Pioneer Memorial Church (15 years). Previously she had served as Associate Pastor at the Sligo Church in Takoma Park, MD (7 years).
Esther is highly qualified for this new role by her stellar pastoral ministry background as well as her education with a BA in Religion, a Masters in Religious Education, and as new PhD student at Andrews University. Married to Ron Knott, President of Andrews University Press, they have one college age daughter, Olivia. Bringing an international flavor to the InMinistry office, Esther was Born in Trinidad, West Indies; lived in England for seven years; Toronto, Ontario for nine years. She has lived in the United States since 1976 and became a citizen in 1993.
