The fifth of our
Seminary’s six core values is:
Discipleship with
wholeness
·
Embracing the ongoing transformation by the Spirit in our own life of
faith and learning
·
Seeking to see in one another the Spirit’s work of restoring the image
of our Maker
·
Mentoring others in knowing and following their call and vocation
All of this is true
and important, even as we approach final exams . . . and graduation.

Prayer Requests

ª
I am saddened to report the death of our friend and recent Seminary
Student, Pastor Robin Upshaw, on
Sabbath afternoon, April 17. The
funeral is scheduled for this coming Friday, April 23, at 11:00am in the
Bethany SDA Church in Miami, FL. Please pray for Robin’s family members
and especially his wife, Deborah, in their loss and minister to one another
in our own pain. We look toward a
grand day of reunion when Robin becomes an alumnus of death!

We have been praying for Pastor
Danail Tchakarov’s mother.
Danail’s wife, Elizabeth, elaborates on the request: “She is in the hospital and is doing a
little better. However, this is just
to stabilize her condition. She has cirrhosis of the liver and a liver
transplant may be the only option for her. We are praying for wisdom to
know what to do and also for God to open doors for this surgery. She is
only 52 and has been very dedicated and active in the church.”

|
ª Thank you for continuing to pray
for other needs among our Seminary family including:
o
Pastor Brett Hahn in the loss of his father
o
Dr. Jon Dybdahl as he continues treatment.
o
Dr. Ken Mulzac, OT professor at AIIAS who is
being treated after having a cancerous mass removed from his leg
o
Pastor Danail Tchakarov’s mother who is very ill
o
Recent Seminary graduate, Pastor
Gregoire Saint Jean.
