Dr. Burnett is a Limited Licensed Psychologist in the state of Michigan. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Andrews University, and completed a 2,000-hour internship at the Hoffman Estates Department of Health and Human Services, in Illinois.
Currently, Dr. Burnett serves on the Berrien County Critical Incident Stress Management team (CISM). He was also involved in providing CISM to victims of the WTC attacks after September 11th.
Dr. Burnett is committed to helping individuals realize and develop their personal strengths. He enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Special areas of focus include: depression, anxiety, trauma, critical incident stress management, personality disorders, grief, anger issues, self-esteem, suicide, and substance abuse.
Dr. Burnett is also the coordinator for substance abuse workshops and outreach programs on Andrews University campus and in the community.
