To have a course offered online it needs to be approved by the Distributed Education Subcommittee. Fill out a self-evaluation on the course and email the form to dlit@andrews.edu.

The DLIT suggests that faculty follow the general guidelines below when making copyrighted materials available online to students.

Be concerned about the following educational resources
Materials with copyright protection under the law includes: journal articles, book chapters, photographs, artwork, music, etc. -
Maintain all student materials behind a password protected area (i.e., D2L)
This is primarily directed to resources that may be subject to copyright.
