Mission Infinity Model
The Mission Infinity Model used to understand the course development process was developed by Dr. Randy Siebold.
The two parallel processes are: Thinking and Doing (as shown in the graphic below). While thinking and doing are never wholly separated, it can be helpful to treat them separately.
During the Thinking Stage, we suggest principles, questions, and activities that help, course developers work through many of the primary issues faced in dealing with electronically delivered distance education. The Doing Stage represents the actual activities: Developing, implementing, measuring, and evaluating the course.
Again, while thinking is not (or should not be) done in isolation of doing, and vice versa, we believe this model and the attached advice will be helpful to those sincerely seeking to create a quality, Adventist Christian web-based course.
