Andrews University in partnership with Griggs University is proud to offer correspondence courses for undergraduates. The AU/GU Distance Education Program upholds the general objectives as stated in Andrews University Bulletin. Specific objectives include: (1) offering flexibility to students completing a college degree, and (2) providing personal academic advising and educational services appropriate for the distance learner. 

These courses will help you complete your degree requirements in no time. Graduation requirements for the distance education degree completion must include the following requirements:

  1. A minimum of 124 semester hours.
  2. For Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree, completion of all general education requirements, plus all the requirements for a major and any specific cognates.
  3. A minimum of 30 semester hours from courses numbered 300 or above.
  4. A minimum of 30 of the last 36 earned in residence (AU credits). The dean of the college in which the student is enrolled must approve the student's taking non-Andrews University courses for any part of the 6 credits.
  5. A minimum of one-third of the credits required for a major must be in courses numbered 300 or above in residence.
  6. A minimum GPA of 2.00 (C) in all credits used to meet degree requirements and in all credits earned at Andrews University.
  7. A minimum GPA of 2.25 in all transfer and Andrews University credits counted for a major, and 2.00 in all transfer and Andrews University credits counted for a major, and 2.00 in all transfer and Andrews University credits counted for minor or emphasis.
  8. No course with a grade below C- may count toward major, minor, or emphasis.
  9. A course may be used to fulfill the requirements for more than one major or minor provided at least 75 percent of the credits used ARE NOT also counted for another major, minor, or emphasis.
  10. Participation in senior assessment designated for general education requirements and for the major and/or emphasis.
  11. The request for graduation be filed with approval by the student's advisor and a designated records officer.

  • General Studies (B.S. in Cross-Cultural Studies)
  • General Studies (B.S. in Human Organization and Behavior)
