Visas for Andrews University
The U.S. government has designated three kinds of visas that allow foreign students to study in America. The most commonly used visa is the F-1 student visa (personal/family funds). The second is the J-1 Exchange visitor visa (substantially funded by a sponsoring organization). The third is the M-1 visa (not offered at Andrews University) given to students who wish to enter the U.S. solely for the purpose of vocational study. Either of these three types of visas allows a person to enter the U.S. as an international student.
