Orientation Information

There are often cultural and educational differences between your home country and the U.S. There are also many rules and regulations regarding immigration and work. You may also have practical questions about living in the United States. We try to answer all these questions during International Student Orientation, which occurs at the beginning of every school term.

The fall term orientation is the most comprehensive, lasting two days. You will receive a great deal of valuable information that will make your Andrews experience as trouble-free as possible.  Please make every effort to attend this important event, as it is mandatory. There is a $75 charge for every new international student who skips orientation and needs to attend a make-up session. First-year undergraduates need to attend only part of the first day of the international orientation, as they will continue to receive helpful information in the New Student Orientation for all new undergraduates.
