Synopsis:
On Friday, October 3rd 2008, Public Safety responded to the Maplewood Apartment Complex in reference to a damage to property complaint. Officer Chapman met with the caller who advised that his neighbor’s vehicle had been damaged. It was discovered that the vehicle’s driver side mirror had been broken. The vehicle’s owner was out of town and the caller wanted to report the matter. It is not known how the vehicle was damaged.

Synopsis:
On Friday, October 3rd 2008, Public Safety received a telephone call that someone had possibly broken into the storage building at Tubing Hill. Officer Bindernagel responded and discovered that unknown person(s) had broken the hinge off of the door of the storage building. This matter is under investigation.

Incident Type: Larceny from a Building
Synopsis:
On Wednesday, October 8th 2008 Public Safety was called to Nethery Hall in reference to a stolen purse. The victim reported that she had left her purse in the student lounge and when she returned later the purse was gone. There are no suspects in this case. This matter is under investigation.

Location: Halenz Hall Room # A-123 (Science Complex)
Incident Type: Larceny from a Building
Synopsis:
On Thursday, October 9th 2008 Public Safety responded to the Science Building on campus in reference to a stolen electronic scale. The victim reported that the scale was taken from a locked room and there was no indication of forced entry into the room. The property is estimated to be valued at approx. $400.00. This matter is under investigation.
