Safety Alert:
An escaped felon, responsible for burglary and sexual offenses on
college campuses, is the suspect in a number of campus burglaries in the
Richmond, Indiana area. (Richmond is located 4 hours southeast of
Berrien Springs.) Rickey Allen Robbins, the escaped felon, is from
Oregon but has family in Union City, Indiana, located just north of
Richmond. He has a history of posing as a college professor to blend
into college campuses. Although there are no reports of Robbins headed
toward southwest Michigan, the Office of Public Safety wants to ensure
our campus community is aware. If you see anything suspicious, please
call Public Safety at 269-471-3321.
