Services

The University has given Campus Safety the responsibility of enforcing its policies governing vehicle use on campus. Please refer to the University’s vehicle handbook for complete details of these policies. All vehicles operated on Andrews’ property must be registered with the Office of Campus Safety. Vehicle registration requires the user of the vehicle to provide a valid driver's license, current proof of insurance, and current vehicle registration for each vehicle being registered. A fee of $10 per vehicle will be charged for each new registration.  Information regarding registration is provided at the time of registration in students' information packets.

Bicycle registration is required. To register your bicycle, bring your bike to our office during business hours.  A fee of $5 per bicycle will be charged for each new registration.

Business Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm
Friday, 8am to 12noon.

Facility and Residence Hall Security Access

Most campus buildings and facilities are accessible to members of the campus community, guests, and visitors during normal business hours. Building managers or department heads are responsible for submitting building opening/closing request to the Office of Campus Safety no later than 3:00pm each Thursday. Residence hall exterior doors are open during the day, but restricted to resident card-access in the evenings. All visitors must check in at the front desk of the residence hall.

AU Crime Stoppers

Rewards are now being offered for information leading to the identification of persons responsible for crimes committed on campus. All information taken is confidential; you do not have to give your name. You call in your tip to (269) 471-3321 and you will be given a tip number with which you may claim a reward if applicable.
