The Department of Public Safety is responsible for the enforcement of all campus parking rules and regulations. Although parking on campus is free, all vehicles operated on Andrews property must be registered. Vehicle registration requires the user of the vehicle to provide his/her driver's license, current proof of insurance, and the current vehicle registration slip for each vehicle being registered. Information regarding registration is provided at the time of registration in students' information packets. In an effort to better serve students, faculty and staff, Department of Public Safety personnel are available at the Administration building during the Fall registration.
To register your bicycle, bring your bike to our office during business hours.
Business Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm
Friday, 8am to 12noon.
Facility and Residence Hall Security Access
Most campus buildings and facilities are generally accessible to members of the campus community, guests, and visitors during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Certain facilities may also be open for designated hours on weekends. Exterior and interior doors on campus buildings are locked and secured each evening by Department personnel. Building directors or department heads may submit room and/or building reservations to the Department of Public Safety to allow specialized access beyond normal building hours. Residence hall exterior doors are open during the day, but restricted to resident card-access in the evenings. All visitors must check in at the front desk of the residence hall. Fire and security alarms for all buildings and residence halls are connected to the Department of Public Safety.
