Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)

Credit for PLA is validated and granted through a process that includes the presentation of a portfolio. this credit-granting option is available only to students 24 years of age or older. PLA is for adult learners who desire tangible recognition through academic credit for their achievements and expertise. Credit can be given for knowledge already acquired in subject areas as a result of on-the-job training, acommunity service activitoes , non-credit courses, and/or special accomplishments. for moer information, contact the Sudent Success Center.
