Andrews University offers students many opportunities through the institutions various programs and fields in the world of academics. The #1 reason given by Andrews students was, "To make it possible to obtain a successful living, working in the career field that interests me." Whatever your reason for attending Andrews, the desired result after obtaining your degree is the same...to find a job. Placement Services is a department whose goal it is to make that trasition from the academic world into the working world. Below are detailed descriptions of some programs that are offered here at Andrews.

Career Job Fairs

Health Careers Job Fair                                                                                                                               
       Each January Andrews hosts their annual Health Careers Job Fair in the Howard Performing Arts Center. The fair focuses on recruiting for employment students from our six health related disciplines: Clinical Laboratory Science; Nursing; Nutrition and Dietetics; Physical Therapy; and Social Work. Anywhere between 50 to 60 vendors from around the United States participate in having recrtuiters finding possible new employees.  

Business Career Fair
       The School of Business hosts an annual Business Career Fair each November. Several companies attend the fair each year in order to recruit students at the bachelor's or master's level in business, accounting, finance, marketing, and information systems. The Career Fair is a great opportunity for students who are seeking to secure an internship or employment upon graduation. For more information please contact the School of Business Administration.

     Chaplaincy Career Fair Sponsored by the Seminary.

Job Pursuit

        An interview fair sponsored by the Michigan Colleges Foundation, for studetns in Business and Arts & Sciences in lansing, MI, each February. This fair is for current students only. For more information check out their webpage at www.jobpursuit.org.

Resume and Cover Letter Writing

Student Success offers resume and cover letter help to students wanting to have their documents proof read. You may come in to the Student Success Center and drop off your documents or you may email them to knutson@andews.edu for review.  Please allow 48-72 hours, unless otherwise indicated, for your documents to be reviewed.
