Biography:

Gisela Schmidt is Assistant Professor of Nursing at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan.

She joined the Andrews faculty in 2004. Born in Argentina, Gisela graduated at River Plate Adventist University as an RN, and at Rosario National University with a Baccalaureate in Nursing. She received a Master in Education in the River Plate Adventist University. The title of the dissertation is: The teaching methods of Jesus and its comparison to the cognitive theories of learning.

She is currently finishing the Master in Nursing Education.

Gisela Schmidt is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor Society of Nursing, American Association of critical care nurses, and Phi Kappa Phi. She teaches classes in Fundamental in Nursing, and Medical Surgical Acute Nursing.
