Henrietta Hanna is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. She received her PhD in Nursing Science from Barry University Miami, FL. Her research dissertation evaluated the influence of self- efficacy and self- care behaviors and glycemic control in older African americans with Type 2 Diabetes. She received a research award from Barry University in 2006. As a Registered Nurse she has worked with elderly people in hospital settings as well as home care.
She currently teaches "Fundamentals of Nursing", "Nursing Research", as well as functions as a Clinical Instructor.
