Zeno Charles-Marcel is a medical missionary of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. He is also a hospital administrator, public health consultant, researcher, author and media personality. He studied Physics and Physiology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and entered the Honors Program in Zoology at Howard University where he completed his medical degree in May 1980. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialty of Internal Medicine and received added qualification in Geriatric Medicine.
Dr. Zeno's research and academic interest since he was a student in medical school have been in the area of cancer, nutrition and lifestyle medicine. His ongoing interest and dedication has been to the study of Metabolic Syndrome and includes: Pre-Diabetes, Hypertension, Coronary artery disease, Obesity, Dyslipidemias and Diabetes and its complications.
