SPLAD Student Handbook
Welcome to the Andrews University Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. We are delighted that you have chosen this field either as your major or minor. As you attend Andrews University, we hope that you learn to love the unique professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and find an exciting and diverse career that fits you and your personality.
This student handbook has been designed as the student's aid in understanding the major, the department, and various requirements of Andrews University. Inside the handbook you will find information such as departmental procedures and policies, clinical procedures and policies, graduate school requirements, as well as information about the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the handbook, read it over, and know where to find certain questions and answers if the need were to arise. In addition, all students are required to sign the Student Handbook Agreement upon completion of reading the handbook.
The faculty and staff of the Andrews University Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Department are here to help, assist, and support you in your spiritual, and personal growth while helping you define yourself as a professional in the field.
