Associate Director, Institute of World Mission Andrews University, located in Southwest Michigan, with over 3000 students drawn from a wide international pool, serves the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Institute of World Mission is an institute of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Its primary task is the training of cross-cultural workers for the world church. It also serves as a "think-tank" on missions for the church at large. Its staff offer a number of services including consulting in church growth, leadership development, ESL/TESL, urban mission and other innovative forms of mission for the 21st century. The Center for Global Urban-Secular Mission serves the Seventh-day Adventist Church in analyzing global urban developments, training in urban mission and church planting/growth, developing models of urban outreach and networking urban workers. The Center offers demographic profiles for North American urban communities. A branch of the center operates on the campus of Columbia Union College in Takoma Park, MD. to serve the needs of North America.
