These pictures I took on camping trips up at Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
I really love going up there because the dunes are huge and the water is really clear.

The hike from our campsite to chapel rock goes along the cliff sides. There's
lots of caves to explore in the cliffs.

At this time, the water had ice chucks in it and was freezing. But it was so
clear that I had to brave a swim.

These are the Grand Dunes. They're 500ft dunes with 300ft inclines.
They're huge.

I took this while hiking down the dunes. Getting down was easy, getting back
up was a real pain.

This is me and my photo backpack and vest.
Which, were so full that I had to attach my lunch (Golden Grahams Cereal) to the outside of the bag.
It made me very easy to spot if I wondered off.
