OPERATION DRY BONES began spreading the love of Jesus Christ in May of 1998. We began this venture because God ordained us to do it. We take the love of Jesus Christ to the streets and local parks in our cit y. There are many residents who will not come to church; so we take church (body of Christ) to them.

At first we went to various parks in the city. We now are focusing on Broadway Park and surrounding areas. We read and play games with the children. We sing songs and preach the Word of God. We give out food boxes t o those who want them.

OPERATION DRY BONES is the catalyst for everything that we do. Because we went out ministering to the community we were impacted by the needs of the people such as better living conditions, alcohol abuse prevention, drug abuse p revention, educational programs and the lack of organized efforts to combat neighborhood problems.
