What is a "Great Controversy" tour?
It is a 15-day European Christian Heritage tour that follows the experience of the fledgling Christian church through its persecutions and triumphs, focusing on the great controversy between good and evil. Following Bible prophecies down through time, participants come to appreciate freedoms and the Bible foundations for which early Christians died, which later characterized the Protestant Reformation. The tour is based on the book Great Controversy by E. G. White
Besides viewing sites of early martyrs in Rome and the Waldensian Valleys, you travel to Calvin's city and Zwingli's territory in Switzerland; Huss & Jerome's place of martyrdom in Germany, the birthplace of Protestantism; and Luther's place of defense in Germany. Finally, you will see the role of France in prophecy, and the impact of the French Revolution on the face of Christianity today.
This tour is an exciting, faith-building look at the heroic experiences of God's people from the early Christian era, through the Dark Ages and Reformation, to the French Revolution.
