Christmas was a great time for all!

Josiah got his first ride ever on a Carousel. He loved it so much he decided to ride again with Mom.

We spent several days in Tennessee at Jailyn's Aunt and Uncle's house.

We hiked up to Ramsey Cascades (falls) while we were at her uncles house. Total hike took three hours up, and two hours down. We ascended about 2000 feet in the 4 miles. The falls are quoted to be the most beautiful cascading falls in the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Here is the starting picture. Uncle Larry is on the left, me in the middle, and on the right is Rodney Payne (pastor of the local church who had hiked the trail before)

Here is a great picture of one of two bridges that we had to cross. Total span was probably 50 feet. Each bridge was a single tree, cut in half with a single hand rail. It was great!

Every place you looked, it was a breath taking picture. The trail followed a river, so it not only looked beautiful, but the sound was very soothing. Everything was laced with snow. You simply had to see it to understand it all.

Ramsey Cascades! It was incredible! Well worth the hike. Total falls is 90 feet. It fell into 3 collection ponds. What you see here is the total cascade potion. You should also know that when we started out, it was about 40 degrees, at this point, the falls, we guessed it was about 15-19 degrees. Click on one or both and save them as your background...I know I did!
