Sunday, November 19, 2006 Hi dear family and friends, We're on the the road once again due to the American Thanksgiving break (Nov 19-25). It is a nice breather and opportunity to get ready for the last few meters in the academic run for this semester. We will be spending most of our week in the Oshawa-Hamilton area visiting with our families. The Seminary it's been a great blessing to us all. From Hermeneutics class with Dr. Canale to Origins with Dr'sYounker/Baldwin, and everything else in between, what they share and discuss with us is so enriching and challenging. Wanetta will have the opportunity to enroll in a few courses designed for minister's wives. Meanwhile, she's actively involved inside and outside the house. Just the other week we were invited to participate in Sabbath School University, a televised discussion that is aired in the Hope Channel. We were personally involved with the January 13th and the March 17th programs. You can find more about Sabbath School University and watch present discussions at www.ssu.adventist.org It is exiting to be able to discover various ways by which to have are youth involved in ministry and sharing God's Word. Singing in the AU Choir is like no precedent. Dr. Zork is a wonderful director and along with the music team of the Pioneer Memorial Church (PMC), worship is taken to a deeper level. Marc Elisée is doing a wonderful job as part of the music team at PMC and the University. Imagine singing in a choir of about 100 voices, sourrounded by a powerful organ, accompanied with strings (led by Marc Elisee) and a few, remarcable brass instruments. Add to the picture a church filled with 2000-3000 souls lifting their voices in adoration to the Creator God. Only Heaven could probably surpass its grandeur. |
